From Al Mohler's "Reading List"

Al Mohler, President of The Southern Baptist Seminar, has a website on which he regularly reviews books. His comments are very insightful and I have discovered that the books he reviews are the type that I highly enjoy (the fact that he seems to be a history buff helps out alot!). As I've indicated, he does not review only theology books but a wide variety including ones for children.

His latest review is on a book called "Restoring Ecclesiology in Baptist Churches." It is a very short review, but quite telling of what Mohler refers to as the SBC's choice of relevance over obedience to the Word. Wow...strong words from a man who trains men for the ministry within the SBC. And it is because of this that his words are so profound and so convicting.

Mohlers website is http://www.albertmohler.com/

*Correction: It is Gregory A. Wills who makes the statement that the SBC has chosen "relevance over obedience." Mr. Wills is professor of Church History at Southern Seminary and is the writer of one of the chapters in the book reviewed by Mohler.
